University Counseling Services provides a fourth-year rotation for psychiatric residents in the Olive View-UCLA Medical Center Psychiatry Residency Training Program.
Through the rotation, residents develop skills in diagnosing and treating the unique mental health issues of a diverse college-based population. Professional collaboration skills are also developed as residents consult with a wide range of mental health professionals and doctoral-level psychology interns. Residents may see up to eight students per week and receive on-site psychiatric supervision. For further information, contact the Coordinator of Residency Training, Judy Schmidt-Levy, Ph.D.
